YOU
CAN DO IT
By
Anthony Michaud
CHORUS:
You
can do it, if you try.
When
it seems impossible, dig deep inside.
If
you give it all you’ve got, you’ll turn out fine.
That’s
why I say, just give it a try.
Learning
to walk may knock you off your feet
But
look at you now you’re running down the street.
Remember
the time you spilled your cup?
Mom
and Dad were there to pick it up.
CHORUS
Tying
your shoes may keep you in knots.
It
may seem at times like trying to pick locks.
Riding
your bike keeps you spinning around.
But
over time you're racing all over town.
CHORUS
Learning
to swing keeps you pumping your legs.
It
may even look like you're scrambling eggs.
What
ever you do- just don’t give up.
Remember
how long it took to train that pup.
CHORUS
One
day you’ll drive a car around the block.
Remembering
how hard it was to skip rocks.
Build
your own house stick by stick.
Or
maybe you’ll choose to do it brick by brick.
